Samah is part of the new generation of young Palestinian artists, and one of the unique voices in the local art scene. Through her hyper-realistic drawings, she explores themes related to identity, the traditional society to which she belongs, and her political reality, offering an accurate insight and a feminist stance that address female identity as a whole. Shehadeh holds a master's degree from the University of Haifa and a bachelor's degree in art from Oranim Academic College of Education. She won the 2018 Schiff Prize for Realistic Figurative Art. Shehadeh has exhibited in numerous shows in Israel and abroad, and her works are in private and public art collections, including the Tel Aviv Museum and LACMA in the United States.
